R-1234YF Systems require an updated seal type on the caps & valve cores. It is important to use caps and valves designed for R-1234YF systems, even ones that have an identical appearance to the R-134a valves have an updated seal design. All of the valves are backward compatible, we recommend shops switch to only stocking R-1234YF valves and use the new valves on all systems to avoid technicians grabbing the wrong valve if you work on R-1234YF systems.
